be you. (tiful)

beeyoutiful
Looking for finger candies this morning, inspired by these from Harvest Gold. Not for everyone, but for me, these are gorgeous engagement rings.

everyday forever

onestone
I love these for their wear-me-everyday-forever-effortlessness. Some are diamonds, some are not. I personally love a colorful stone, but they are all so simply beautiful! Anyone in the market for an engagement ring?
From One Stone.

scosha

scosha
So pretty! I love these so much. The tiny diamond in the bottom left corner is my favorite, such a great idea for an engagement ring! From Scosha NYC.

sarah hood

SarahHood
I guess it's just a wedding ring sort of week! Sarah Hood was a featured seller this morning on Etsy and I couldn't resist! I love the natural, casual quality these rings have. Everything from women's engagement rings to men's wedding bands have the same high quality/low glitz feel to them. She also has some beautiful non-wedding rings, you know... just for fun.

twiggy tweasures

bittersweets
I got a delightful email from the nice folks at Bittersweets, and wanted to share their amazing work. I absolutely love their new twig rings! The marquise cut diamond twig is my favorite!

sarah perlis

sarahperlis
Beautifully unique ring configurations at Sarah Perlis, I love her take on the asymmetrical solitaire!

itali lambertini

timlabert
This amazing jewelry reminds me of a trip thru the Roman Antiquities wing at the Met (one of my absolute favorite wings, but the way). I love the rings especially, and think they'd be just perfect for an engagement ring. "Timeless" would be the perfect adjective, don't you think? Itali Lambertini will also create custom rings, if you're looking for some other type of stone.

back!

kelsodeal
I'm so happy to be back! While I have no news (they didn't do an ultrasound this morning, so I'll have to wait a few weeks to find out if it's a boy or a girl) I am excited to get back to blogging and to work at Kenzie Kate. Thank you to everyone who left name suggestions. I will revisit this problem in a few weeks!
I got an exciting email from Becky Kelso last week about her new website and corresponding sale. Enter the code "OPAL" at checkout until the end of March and get a 25% discount off anything on her new site. I thought I'd post about that first off, in case any of you might like to do a little discount shopping!

to have and to hold

prismerahold
I have always been a fan of Prismera Jewelry, and designer Laura Su has recently released a new collection called "Hold". Yay! Each piece has a kind of rough, organic feel that, coupled with a few stones, makes a really stunning combination. In these tough times, the price is right too!

becky love

beckykelso
It's no secret how much I love Becky Kelso. Her style speaks to me on my most feminine, ageless levels. How great would those blue earrings be as your "something blue"? If only...

cabin fever

sarahperlis
I think I have the fever. The cabin fever. I'm dying to open my windows, feel a cool breeze, eat some fresh, ripe fruit (thanks to this this post by Cannelle et Vanille) smell grass! If only...
Alas, I think we're getting another 10 inches of snow before the end of the day Wednesday, that means I will have to travel far and wide for the cure to my fever. On the plus side, I did find some amazing deals on flights to California this afternoon... there may be a vacation in my future?? I hope.
In the mean time, I'm entertaining myself by looking for stylish conflict-free engagement rings for a newly engaged reader, Cami (congrats!). Sarah Perlis makes a few of my absolute favorites, some are even made with recycled gold. Love the rough cut stone!

blinded by the bling

kwiat
Kwiat. It's fun to look ;)

finger candy

manak
These rings from Manak remind me of Queen Elizabeth. Such panache all on one finger... I love the tiara style one on the top. All from Ylang Ylang. The middle one would make a fantastic wedding band.

calla rings

callarings
These beautiful calla rings from Favero Arte Italiana make such a nice alternative to the traditional solitaire. While the diamonds are still front and center, the format is so unique. You know me, I love anything as long as it's not everywhere! This particular designer also makes a larger version, all are available online at Ylang 23.

moritz glik

moritzglik
Beautiful stuff from Moritz Glik over at Fragments. Love the circular ring on the right, even if I can't quite figure out how that diamond in the center is staying put.

responsible rings

DawesDesigns
I found out about eco-friendly jewelry designer Jennifer Dawes through the Porto Vert website, who always has awesome suggestions on making your wedding more green. Dawes only uses recycled gold, conflict free diamonds and responsibly mined stones in her amazing engagement rings, wedding rings and other jewelry. I think her Tine Oval Diamond Ring (top left) is my new favorite solitaire-alternative engagement ring.
Speaking of Porto Vert, they are declaring March DIY Wedding month and are featuring projects and a DIY contest on their site, thought you might like to check that out too.

fancy, in a good way.

tajtaj
These remind me of a gorgeous princess from a far-off land on the day of her wedding to the prince of her dreams. Who? who? I ask does not want to be reminded of that? From taj taj jewelry, consisting of fine gems combined with 18K gold.
If anyone out there gets Martha Stewart Radio on Sirius, you can catch me on at 10:30 AM, talking with Betsy Karetnick on Morning Living about wedding invitations. I must admit, I'm a little nervous. Wish me luck!

love

ayeshamayadas
These are my absolute favorite. I've posted about Ayesha Mayadas work before, but I couldn't resist dedicating another post to her gorgeous bands. I love the way she sets stones. They're so organic looking, yet still feminine and pretty.

bling

Raul
Gorgeous jewelry over at Raul Frisneda Jewelry. My favorites are the earrings, no wait, the bracelet. No! Wait! The ring. It's the ring. Who cares, they're all amazing. They leave me wishing for an occasion for dressing in jewels.
That reminds me. Today, is a very special day. Today is the LOST premiere. I'm a total LOST junkie. So much so that whenever I type LOST, I must use all CAPS, like in the logo... LOST! I must admit that the event is bittersweet. When we lived in Brooklyn I would host "LOST Night" every Wednesday. My friends would all come over and I would make dinner. It was the highlight of my week. Now that we're in Rhode Island, and my dear friends are far far away, LOST Night is sure to be a little sad. Luckily I have Sawyer to distract me from all the sadness.

omg

engagementworthy
I stumbled across Estate Diamond Jewelry.com by accident, and found some of the most beautiful engagement ring settings I have ever seen. I absolutely love the setting with the Asscher cut diamond on the left hand side. The princess cut one, surrounded by the sapphires is also just amazing. Granted, if it were me, I might not want quite such an enormous diamond. I might even substitute the diamond in some of these settings for something else. An aquamarine? A sapphire? A citrine? I can't imagine any stone looking bad!
