Check out the Diadem collection from Sophiei for some inspired takes on the tiara/headband. I especially love that the tiaras are light, with out looking too wirey, you know what I mean? Sophie says she'll be more than happy to ship to the US, so don't be shy!
Those really do range from the sublime to the sublimely ridiculous, don't they? They make me wish I had the cash and a good excuse to commission a hat and a diadem from her. Sigh. I never have a good reason to wear a crown these days. Still, I've bookmarked the page so I can dream.
